ARE YOU A PILOT BUT DON’T OWN A PLANE?
Chester County Aviation rents eight well-maintained, updated, and safe aircraft. Our fleet consists of Cessna 172s, Piper Warriors, a Piper Cherokee 235, a Cirrus SR20, and a Cirrus SR22. Each aircraft is equipped for VFR and IFR flights and have four seats. The Chester County airport is only an hour’s flight from downtown New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., the beaches of Maryland, or the rolling hills of central Pennsylvania. Whether you are a seasoned pilot or a new Private pilot, CCA offers a wide selection of aircraft to fly.

Schedule your initial aircraft proficiency check with one of our experienced Certified Instructor Pilots.
Obtain a Non-Owned Aircaft Rental Insurance Policy. Make sure your policy has minimum of $5000 hull coverage and $1,000,000 overall liability, $100,000 per passenger liability.
Study the aircraft’s Pilots Operating Handbook (POH), Checklist, Avionics, and procedures – then complete the Aircraft Initial/Recurrent Knowledge Quiz.
Fly with one of our experienced Certified Instructor Pilots to demonstrate your airmanship in normal, abnormal, and emergency operations in a real airplane.
This will vary per person but is somewhere between 1 – 5 hours of flight training.

Twelve (12) months after the initial proficiency check, we require you to complete another proficiency check to keep your skills proficient in each airframe you fly.
