Complete Questionnaire
Study the aircraft’s Pilots Operating Handbook (POH), Checklist, Avionics, and procedures – then complete the Single Engine Questionnaire (found on the Resources page or at the link below).
Obtain Renter's Insurance
Obtain a Non-Owned Aircraft Rental Insurance Policy. Make sure your policy has a minimum of $5000 hull coverage and $1,000,000 overall liability, $100,000 per passenger liability.​
Proficiency Checkout Process
Fly with one of our experienced Certified Instructor Pilots to demonstrate your airmanship in normal, abnormal, and emergency operations in a real airplane.
As a big part of our safety culture, our renter checkouts are to proficiency and will vary per pilot. This will also vary per aircraft but is usually between 1 – 10 hours of flight training.
Enjoy Your Trip!
Twelve (12) months after the initial proficiency check, we require you to complete another proficiency check to keep your skills proficient in each airframe you fly.

Overnight Rentals
We permit overnight rentals in our aircraft, excluding our Cessna G1000s or Piper Warriors. Overnight minimums can be found in our SOPM or renter's agreement.
